Inter defender Milan Shkrinyar rejected the offer of the Milan club to extend his contract. This is reported by https://www.telecomasia.net
According to the source, Inter offered the Slovak to extend his contract with a salary of € 6 million per season. Shkrinyar could earn about 500 thousand euros more as bonuses. The defender’s side requested a salary of € 8 million per year. The Nerazzurri management made it clear that they would not be able to make such an offer.
Shkrinyar rejected the proposed contract, but his decision is not final. Inter hopes that the leader of the defense will change his mind and sign a new agreement with Milan, although they understand that they have made every effort to retain the player.
27-year-old Shkrinyar has been playing for Inter since 2017. The Slovak played 241 matches for Nerazzurri, scoring 11 goals and five assists. His contract with Inter expires in June 2023.
